- Summer for Kids Playroom Grand Opening, Saturday 2/4 at 11 AM - Montecito boutique Summer for Kids is opening its new and improved playroom this Saturday! 1235 Coast Village Road. Cost = FREE
- Carpinteria Seal Sanctuary, all weekend - This will be a great weekend to check out the Carpinteria Seal Preserve, as this is the time of year that many of the seals give birth. Many of them are pregnant right now, and once one gives birth, apparently the others will be "inspired" to give birth too! It's pretty amazing to watch a baby seal be born. - SB Int'l Film Festival Applebox Family Movie Screening, 2/4 and 2/5 at 10 AM, Arlington Theater- SBIFF continues its Applebox series with screenings of Puss in Boots (Saturday 2/4) and Kung Fu Panda 2 (Sunday 2/5). Doors open at 9:15. Cost = FREE. Click here for more info.
